What does an executive preventive health screening include?

Our comprehensive executive preventive health screening package integrates two of our current health screenings – Full Body* Cancer Scan and Health Complete.

This comprehensive offering involves a personalised consultation with a specialist health screening doctor, followed by a series of tests that will include.

Your results will then be compiled into a comprehensive health screening report.

The Full Body* Cancer Scan is an advanced MRI technology that specifically addresses the needs of asymptomatic individuals with cancer-related concerns, ensuring prompt specialist referrals if necessary. If any abnormalities or areas of concern are identified, you will be referred to an appropriate specialist for further evaluation and guidance.

The cost of this health screening is £5,750.

A Review of your medical history

A specialist health screening doctor goes through your personal and family health history to identify any predispositions or ongoing issues. This allows the screening to be tailored to areas where you’re at higher risk.

A full body* MRI cancer scan

Advanced MRI technology scans your body from head to mid-thigh to screen for asymptomatic cancers in major organs like the brain, liver, pancreas, prostate, and bowel. Early detection of small lesions (around 1 cm) enables swift referral and intervention if needed.

* Our full body* MRI cancer Screening provides a comprehensive examination of organs from the head to the mid-thigh, focusing on critical areas while excluding the skin and arms.

BMI check

Your body mass index is calculated by measuring your height and weight. This helps assess whether you’re within a healthy weight range and identify potential risk factors related to obesity or underweight.

Blood pressure check

This measures the force of blood against your artery walls to detect hypertension or hypotension. It’s a quick yet vital check that indicates cardiovascular health and potential strain on your heart.

Comprehensive blood tests

A wide range of blood tests are carried out to provide a full picture of your internal health. These include checks for cholesterol and lipid profiles (to assess cardiovascular risk), blood sugar levels (for diabetes screening), liver and kidney function, thyroid activity, vitamin and hormone levels, and full blood counts to detect anaemia or infection. By covering multiple systems in one panel, blood tests can uncover hidden issues early and guide personalised recommendations for lifestyle or treatment.

Urine tests

Your urine is examined to spot signs of kidney issues, urinary tract infections, diabetes, or other metabolic concerns. It’s a helpful diagnostic tool for detecting both acute and chronic conditions.

MRI head

A detailed scan of the brain to check for abnormalities such as tumours, vascular issues, or unexplained neurological symptoms. Useful for early detection of silent but serious conditions.

CT scans

A CT scan of your chest can identify any lung abnormalities. It will also check for any calcium deposits in your coronary arteries which can lead to blockages and heart disease.

ECG scans

An ECG records the electrical activity of your heart through small sensors placed on your skin. It can show whether your heart is beating too fast, too slow, or irregularly, and can detect signs of poor blood flow, past heart attacks, or structural issues. It’s often the first step in identifying early heart disease before symptoms become noticeable.

Ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis

Scans of your abdomen and pelvis will assess the surrounding organs to check for lumps, cysts and aneurysms. You will need to fast for six hours prior to your appointment to ensure your images are accurate. For a pelvic scan, you may need to drink four to six cups of water beforehand.

Tests for women

A clinical breast examination is performed to check for any lumps, thickening, or changes in breast tissue. For women under 40, this is complemented by an ultrasound scan, which provides a clear picture of the internal breast structure. These combined tests are designed to detect benign conditions or early signs of breast cancer, ensuring reassurance and swift referral if anything unusual is found.

Tests for men

A physical examination of the scrotum and testicles is carried out to check for any lumps, swelling, or abnormalities. This is followed by an ultrasound scan, which uses sound waves to create detailed images of the testicular tissue. Together, these tests help detect conditions such as cysts, varicoceles, or early signs of testicular cancer, offering reassurance and enabling early intervention if needed.

Blood and urine test details

Haematology and Urinalysis

Includes full blood count. This checks the types and number of cells in your blood, including red and white blood cells and platelets. This is a useful indicator of your general health and can help detect a wide range of medical disorders. If an abnormality is found, your doctor will likely send you for further diagnostic tests to help find the underlying problem.

The urine test screens for a wide range of disorders including a urinary tract infection, kidney disease and diabetes. If an abnormality is found, results are analysed in conjunction with results from other diagnostic tests to help identify the underlying problem.

Biochemistry

  • Kidney function – This tests how well the kidney is filtering the blood plus the overall balance of electrolytes and minerals in your body.
  • Liver function tests – This measures enzymes and proteins produced by the liver to give a picture of how well your liver is functioning and detect any liver cell damage.
  • Bone health – This profile includes calcium and uric acid: two compounds that give a good indication of your bone health.
  • Diabetes – This profile includes glycated haemoglobin to indicate how well controlled your blood sugar levels have been over the past three months. The direct blood glucose level also tells us how high or low your blood sugar level is on the day of the blood test.
  • Lipid profile – This measures the amount of good and bad cholesterol in your circulation.
  • Iron status – This profile measures both the direct iron levels and ferritin levels. Low iron and ferritin could indicate iron deficiency anaemia which could explain symptoms of tiredness, exhaustion and breathlessness.
  • Inflammatory marker – C-reactive protein is a marker of inflammation in the body. It can be used to identify infection or monitor the response to treatment for an infection or inflammatory condition.
  • Vitamin D – Vitamin D helps to regulate the absorption of calcium, phosphate and magnesium in the gut. It is also vital for bone growth and health and can be useful in investigating certain forms of bone disease or gut pathologies.

Endocrinology

  • CA 125 – This is the tumour marker that’s used to detect or monitor ovarian cancer. (Female only)
  • Testosterone – Measuring testosterone can help to identify the cause of erectile dysfunction, infertility, premature/delayed puberty or male menopause. (Male only)
  • Prostate Screen (Prostate Specific Antigen) – This is a blood test that is used to help detect or monitor prostate cancer. (Male only)
