Role: Evening Cleaner
Location: Harley Street
Hours of work: Part-time, 15 hours per week Monday to Friday
Phoenix Hospital Group is a dynamic, fast growing independent hospital group which currently operates two hospitals in central London and Essex and two Harley Street outpatient and diagnostic centres. It has ambitious plans to grow and is now keen to appoint an exceptional Housekeeper to support the next stage of its development.
The successful candidate will clean specified areas to Phoenix Hospital Group standards, also to keep all adjacent areas clean, free from obstruction, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and comfort to all personnel.
Core Responsibilities
- To be part of the team who are responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness are achieved and maintained
- Cleaning consulting rooms and public and staff areas across London sites
- To promote good communications in the department
- Ensure a pleasant and courteous environment for patients and members of staff
- To use cleaning equipment correctly
- To assist in the training of new starters in the use of equipment
- To use equipment with care and correct cleaning and storage after use
- To use cleaning chemicals and materials according to instructions
- To report any lost or found property
- To maintain confidentiality of patient information
- To attend training as appropriate, including mandatory training
- To maintain good employee relations within departments.
- To carry out any other relevant duties as requested
Required skills & experience
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Physically able to carry out manual tasks, eg. bending, lifting, using floor cleaning machinery
- Able to maintain high standards and take pride in work
- Goof team member
- Flexible and adaptable
- Willing to learn
