A vulvoscopy is a test that looks at the vulva through a microscope to check for any changes that can’t be seen by the naked eye. If anything unusual is discovered, a biopsy is usually taken which will be sent to be tested for cancer. Most vulvoscopies do not show any cancer, but it is always worth checking to put your mind at ease.
