Miss Okhravi is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specializing in Medical Retina and Uveitis at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHSFT. She holds an Honorary Associate Professors contract at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, and is Associate Dean to Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary, University of London. She is the Director of Studies at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, and Director of Undergraduate Education at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHSFT.

Miss Okhravi qualified in 1989 from Royal London Medical School and has been a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon since January 2004. She obtained a PhD in Ophthalmology in 1999, Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education in 2010 and a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership (Quality Improvement) in 2014. Narciss is also a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators, and an alumnus of Generation Q (Health Foundation and Ashridge Business School).

Miss Okhravi has a keen interest in education of health care professionals, both at undergraduate and at postgraduate level, with wide experience of teaching clinicians, ophthalmologists and allied health professionals, from the most junior students to the most senior adult learners.

She enjoys looking after patients with medical retina and uveitis related eye conditions and is point of referral for complex ocular disease, systemic disease, secondary or tertiary opinions.
