Juliet was awarded a 1st class degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Surrey and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, and an MSc in Nutritional Medicine in 2005.

Juliet has considerable experience of working in clinical practice, both within the NHS and private healthcare. Juliet is able to advise on a number of conditions and works alongside her patient to gain an in depth understanding of their needs.

Between 2015 – 2021 Juliet coupled her dietetic practice with an academic position at the University of Surrey. She maintains an external lecturing position with the University of Surrey and The University of East Anglia.

Amongst her other areas of interest, Juliet specialises in sports nutrition and has worked with athletes to achieve personal gains in performance. She was the Lead Nutritionist for several international sports events including the London Olympics 2012, the European Games 2015 and the Islamic Games 2017. Juliet continues to work with many recreational and professional athletes to maximise performance and health.

In addition, Juliet has successfully integrated ‘Performance and Wellbeing Nutrition’ into the workplace with the aim of improving corporate and employee health and well-being. She has been a highly regarded consultant to large corporations, such as Shell Oil, British Telecom and ITV, where she worked with members of the board through to key operational staff.

Juliet is proud to be intrinsically involved in the following prestigious awards:

  • GIG: The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2017.
    GIG: The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Performance 2014.
    University of Surrey: The Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education, the highest accolade for any academic institution, in recognition of its excellence in the field of food and nutrition.

Juliet currently Chairs the prestigious Nutritional Medicine Alumni, as well as being an active member of the British Dietetic Association, the Health Care Professions Council, UK High-Performance Sports Dietitians and The Nutrition Society.
