I graduated in Medicine in Italy where I also specialized in Gastroenterology & Digestive Endoscopy and
got my PhD in Hepato-Gastroenterological sciences and Liver Diseases.
Due to my research & clinical interest on Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (Ulcerative Colitis & Crohn’s
Disease) during my fellowship, I spent some months as Visiting Physician at Mount Sinai Hospital, NY,
USA, and at Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov Hospital), Tel Aviv, Israel.
I worked as Assistant Professor in Gastroenterology at University Campus Biomedico in Rome for
almost 10 yrs where I was the Lead of the Outpatient Clinic for inflammatory Bowel Disease and
gastro-immunologic diseases. I conducted clinical research on Innovative Diagnostic tools in IBD (i.e.,
Magnetic Resonance Enterography) and Clinical Trials with Biologics and Targeted Treatments in IBD
I was appointed as Young European Assessors at AIFA (Italian Drug Agency) for Immunology and
Gastroenterology and worked as external consultant for some pharmaceutical companies within
inflammatory/autoimmunity field.
I’m a specialist in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy with a special interest focused on
Digestive Endoscopy (diagnostic and operative) and immunology disorders of GI tract (i.e.,
Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Coeliac Disease, Microscopic Colitis, Allergic Gastroenteritis, Eosinophlic
Oesophagitis),

The team made sure everything was organised for us prior to our arrival. All the consultations, tests & scans we needed had been scheduled into a neat timespan and additional scans were arranged as required without the need for an additional visit.
