Phoenix Hospital Group announces acquisition of 25 Harley Street

Phoenix Hospital Group (PHG), one of the UK’s leading independent healthcare providers based in Central London is announcing its acquisition of 25 Harley Street to add to its growing portfolio of state-of the-art medical centres including Weymouth Street Hospital and 9 Harley Street.

25 Harley Street, an outpatient, treatment and diagnostic centre delivers services and facilities which will complement 9 Harley Street and Weymouth Street Hospital. These services include the latest x-ray technology combined with Tomosynthesis, advanced Dexa scanning, an in-house pathology laboratory, phlebotomy, gynaecological and minor procedures and treatment facilities.

The building and Clinic also boasts superb consulting rooms, nursing support and outpatient facilities with additional administrative space for consultants.

The acquisition of the Centre comes at the same time as the Groups’ announcement to work in conjunction with the Howard de Walden Estate to increase the size of the Weymouth Street Hospital. The hospital will build two ultra-modern operating theatres in a new expanded basement theatre complex as well as the development of additional patient recovery facilities and a new co-located purpose-built critical care capability. Following the relocation of two of the existing theatres to the new theatre complex, the Weymouth will increase its patient bed numbers to meet the growing demand for its facilities.

Phoenix Hospital Group, which is widely considered to be one of the most innovative and ‘up-and-coming’ businesses in Harley Street, is committed to providing first-class clinical and nursing care by employing dedicated, highly-trained staff at every level.  The ethos of PHG is to ensure that patients receive the best possible personal care to make their stay as comfortable as possible.

The Group has a unique approach of working collegiately and positively with consultants, supported by an exceptional patient services team and facilities. PHG’s vision is to become one of the UK’s leading independent providers of healthcare offering patients and doctors individual and personal support and care.
