Role: Recruitment Officer

Phoenix Hospital Group is a dynamic, fast growing independent hospital group which currently operates two hospitals in central London and Essex and two Harley Street outpatient and diagnostic centres. It has ambitious plans to grow and is now keen to appoint an exceptional Recruitment Officer to support the next stage of its development.

The post holder will play a leading role in attracting top talent to join Phoenix Hospital Group, whilst ensuring an outstanding hiring manager and candidate experience. The post holder will help provide a comprehensive recruitment service, covering the full range of issues to meet the company needs in an effective and professional manner by adhering to company processes, policies and best practice. The post holder will create and implement innovative and effective recruitment solutions whilst identifying continuous improvement throughout the resourcing process.

Duties include but are not limited to

  • Full recruitment lifecycle ownership of all vacancies across our sites.
  • Identify and create effective recruitment approaches measuring success and refining as needs be.
  • Creating and posting adverts to attract suitable candidates.
  • Reviewing applications and booking candidates in for interview with management team.
  • Build strong relationships with Managers and Heads of Departments, advising on best practice at all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Support and work with the management team to fill current vacancies, taking part in any recruitment or sourcing initiatives when needed.
  • Proactively build pipelines and manage passive candidates in critical talent segments.
  • Be an advocate of inclusive & cost effective hiring through successfully sourcing candidates through a variety of recruiting channels.
  • Candidate management through to offer stage, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
  • Work in partnership with the Management Team to ensure delivery of specific resourcing plans.
  • Execute targeted campaigns and projects in response to business needs.
  • Delivering on Resourcing KPIs and SLA’s.
  • Support and facilitate all selection processes including reviewing applications, organising interviews, shortlists and candidate selection.
  • Facilitate the vacancy approval process for new vacancies; ensuring correct approval has been given. Liaising with the management team to update them on the approval process.
  • Provide and monitor recruitment figures and the status of candidates’ progress through the recruitment process.
  • Supporting the Executive Committee in the continuous development of recruitment processes.
  • Resolving all enquiries relevant to recruitment.
  • Regularly update knowledge on governing bodies and internal policies requirements to maintain compliance.

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a similar or related role is essential
  • Experience working in a busy, high performing office environment
  • Recruitment within healthcare would be advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with demonstrable experience of influencing and advising hiring managers
  • Experience of delivering on multiple vacancies in challenging market conditions
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and targets
