Role: Information Analyst

Location: Harley Street, London

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience

 

Phoenix Hospital Group is a dynamic, fast growing independent hospital group which currently operates two hospitals in central London and Essex and two Harley Street outpatient and diagnostic centres.

We are now seeking an ambitious and highly skilled Information and Data Analyst. The position is ideal for applicants who have some previous relevant experience and are looking for their next challenge or for appropriately qualified graduates who are looking for a career in data analytics, particularly in healthcare. The successful candidate will be expected to become a systems super user and play a key role in providing intelligence and analysis for Phoenix Hospital Group. An ambassador of the highest quality and credibility, the job holder contributes significantly to the ongoing success of Phoenix Hospital Group.

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Responsible for data submissions to PHIN and the NHS;
  • Define and put in place data quality metrics and controls across the operational data systems to monitor data quality;
  • To work with the management team to ensure that we are getting best use of our various systems and processes;
  • Generally add value through providing a point of reference for the integration of our systems to get out key management information for analytical purposes;
  • To provide financial support to key projects as required with emphasis on revenue capture, contract compliance and invoice processing;
  • To provide detailed activity and revenue data to ensure theatre and outpatient schedules are utilised effectively;
  • To develop accurate data modelling and forecast models in a dynamic environment;
  • To produce and track key performance indicators;
  • To identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes.

Skills and Experience

  • Degree or professional qualification in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related IT or Statistical subject;
  • Passion for working in healthcare, and preferably some experience in healthcare;
  • Technical skills and experience, such as statistics, coding, data science and modelling;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, across a diverse range of areas;
  • Proven experience of working with Excel is required;
  • Knowledge of data management and data governance processes;
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure;
  • Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary;
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team;
  • High degree of organisation and ability to prioritise;
  • Excellent attention to detail.
