Weymouth Street Hospital is featured on BBC Two’s new series Inside Harley Street. In the episode Make Me Beautiful, the rise of cosmetic medicine in the area is explored. Every kind of cosmetic procedure is available on Harley St, from botox to cosmetic surgery to hair transplants.

The film examines the doctors’ motivations and values. Our surgeon Angelica Kavouni is seen operating at the hospital, making women look younger.

Tatler’s guide to Cosmetic Surgeons

We are delighted to report that our Cosmetic Surgeons have been selected as being the ‘go to’ surgeons for specialist Cosmetic Procedures according to the latest Tatler Guide to Beauty and Cosmetic Surgery March 2015. To achieve the results that you are looking for and for peace of mind the experience of your Surgeon and medical team are so important in making your decision.

Francesca White, Beauty and Cosmetic Surgery Editor reports:

‘The average woman looks at herself in the mirror at least eight times a day. We do it for many reasons: to check our make-up is still in place, to wonder at the development of a spot, but mostly for a sense of reassurance. Yes, that is me. And then, one day, a gap appears. It is the gap between how we think we look – our internal image of ourselves – and the reality. It is terrifying, and every time we look in the mirror we are fearful that the gap has widened. But it doesn’t have to.

That is the point of good cosmetic work: not to make someone look radically different, but to make us look the way we feel we ought to look. It can be done – if you have the right procedures, the right products, the right practitioner. And, as the science advances (faster than we are ageing), there are more and more ways of reducing the gap. Which is why the Tatler Beauty & Cosmetic Surgery Guide is ever evolving. At its heart is still the all-important top doctors list – as always, we recommend that you choose someone registered with BAAPS, the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons’.

We are pleased to see that so many of our Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons have been recommended for their skill and experience in the Tatler Cosmetic Surgery Guide.
